Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Polish Ryu-Te Federation is pleased to invite you to a training seminar conducted by
Tashi Jim Logue, 9 Dan.
The seminar is planned for two days 07 and 08 of August 2010 (Saturday and Sunday).
Overall Schedule
07.08.2010 - Saturday
10:00-11:00 - Official start with demonstrations
11:00-14:00 – 1st training block (two sessions)
14:00-15:00 – Break
15:00-18:00 – 2nd training block (two sessions)
08.08.2010 – Sunday
10:00-14:00 – 3rd training block divided into two groups--Yudansha and others (Two sessions)
14:00-15:00 – Official ending
Detailed Schedule
Saturday Training Sessions
1st training block
Two training sessions separated by a 5 minute break.
• The first session will present the general concepts of Ryu- Te. It will include techniques, demonstrations and explanations behind Atemi Jutsu and Tuite.
• The second session will display the unique understanding of Ryu-Te kata Demonstrations of selected kata of various levels of advancement will be performed.
2nd training block
Two training sessions separated by a 5 minute break.
• The first session will present bunkai from Ryu-Te kata. These will combine the previous two sessions’ content, and will provide interpretations of the kata. The lessions will vary depending on the level of advancement.
• The second session will focus on Kobudo in Ryu-Te. This will largely be a demonstration session which will highlight Kobudo concepts in kata and as techniques. The links between Kobudo techniques and empty hand techniques will also be discussed.
Sunday Training Sessions
1st training block
Training will be split into two groups--yudansha and colored belts.
• Yudansha Group
o The first session will cover advanced self-defense techniques and Kyusho Jutsu.
o The second session will provide time for questions regarding the previously presented material.
• Colored Belt Group
o The first Training will cover self-defense techniques. The training will primarily be in pairs.
o Second Training will provide time for questions of the instructor regarding the previously presented material.
Official closing
• Closing ceremonies will include presentation of black belt certificates to those who tested and opportunities to take photographs .
Reservations
• The cost of participation in the seminar is 50 EUR per person for two days of training. This single fee covers all training sessions and will not be adjusted based on the number of sessions attended.
